born on March 21, 1978, is an Indian film actress who works in Bollywood movies.
Making her acting debut with Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat (1996), Mukerji had her first commercial success with Karan Johar's romance Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), her biggest hit so far, and won a Filmfare Best Supporting Actress Award for her performance in the film. She later starred in many films, most of which fared below expectations. She re-invented her image with Saathiya (2002), which was commercially and critically successful.

She regularly takes part in dance and theatre seminars in foreign destinations, right from the Far East to Europe to United States. Anita is one of the main persons responsible behind the initiation of 'The Other Festival', held in Chennai every December for promotion of contemporary Indian dance. In her career of three decades, she has given over 1000 performances in 15 countries and made immense contribution in the field of classical dance.

JANANI JANMA BHOOMISCHA SWARGADAPI GARIYASI Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao(28 May 1923–18 January 1996), more commonly known as N.T. Rama Rao, NTR by his fans, or Anna garu, was an Indian film actor, director, producer, and politician.He founded the Telugu Desam Party and served three times as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. His repertoire of films included mythological, social, and folk themes. He was awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India in the 1960s, recognising his contribution to Telugu cinema. After his film career, Rao became a political activist and party leader.
Early life:

His theme of the campaign was that "If the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh couldn't get audience with Delhi, How could a commoner get to make his voice heard?". Later Life:
He stormed back to power in 1994 when he promised he would offer rice at Rs. 2/kg and to make Andhra Pradesh "Alcohol-Free". True to his word he kept his promises. However, this ended up burning holes in the Government's revenue. It is noteworthy that regulation (viz., ban on alcohol) has rarely been a success in Democracies.In 1995, his son-in-law Nara Chandrababu Naidu, broke away from NTR and convinced most of the TDP MLA's to elect him as their leader thus, making him the chief minister to replace Dr.Rao. Both the INR 2/kg Rice, and the Alcohol Prohibition policies were gradually softened and withdrawn during the rule of his successor Nara Chandrababu Naidu. There have been reports that the populist policies and measures of Dr. Rao contributed to enormous strain on the state exchequer.He died on 18 January 1996, due to Heart Attack.

Singer, songwriter. Jackson was born August 29, 1958, in Gary, Indiana, to an African-American working-class family. His father, Joseph Jackson, had been a guitarist but had put aside his musical aspirations to provide for his family as a crane operator. Believing his sons had talent, he molded them into a musical group in the early 1960s. At first, the Jackson Family performers consisted of Michael's older brothers Tito, Jermaine,and Jackie. Michael joined his siblings when he was five, and emerged as the group's lead vocalist. He showed remarkable range and depth for such a young performer, impressing audiences with his ability to convey complex emotions. Older brother Marlon also became a member of the group, which evolved into the Jackson 5.
Behind the scenes, Joseph Jackson pushed his sons to succeed. He was also reportedly known to become violent with them.
Michael and his brothers spent endless hours rehearsing and polishing up their act. At first, the Jackson 5 played local gigs and built a strong following. They recorded one single on their own,

The product of a turbulent childhood, future actor Tobias Vincent Manguire was born on June 27, 1975 in Santa Monica, CA. The offspring of unwed parents, Maguire moved frequently as a child, living with various familial permutations of his parents, grandparents and aunts. This fractured childhood may have contributed to the young actor's drive and unique presence, evincing at once mature clarity and childlike vulnerability in his performances. After his mother, Wendy,, offered him $100 to take drama instead of home economics as a school elective, Maguire-encouraged by a neighbor who was an entertainment manager-studied acting and soon landed TV commercial work.

Cast in the supporting role of Chuck Bolger, a childhood friend of Leonardo DiCaprio's character of Toby, Maguire not only impressed critics-he more importantly forged a lifelong off-screen friendship with co-star DiCaprio. More impressive was Maguire's turn in Griffin Dunne's 1995 Oscar-naminated short, "The Duke of Groove." In it, Maguire deftly played a pop icon-populated party with his mother, during which the two learn truths about themselves and each other.

Shahrukh Khan:
Khan was born in 1965 to Muslim parents of Pathan descent in New Delhi, India. His father, Taj Mohammed Khan, was an Indian freedom fighter from Peshawar, British India. According to khan, his patternal grandfather was orginally from Afghanistan. His mother, Lateef Fatima, was the adopted daughter of Major General Shah Nawaz Khan of the Janjua Rajput clan, who served as a General in the Indian National Army of Subash Chandra Bose. Khan's father came to NewDelhi from Qissa Khawani Bazaar in Peshawar before the partition of India, while his mother's family came from Rawalpindi, British India. Khan has an elder sister named shehnaz.

Khan attended St.Columba's School where he was accomplished in sports, drama, and academics. He won the sword of Honour, an annual award given to the student who best represents the spirit of the school. Khan later attended the Hansraj college (1985-1988) and earned his Economics (honors). Though he pursed a Masters Degree in Mass Communications at Jamia Millia Islamia, he later opted out to make his career in Bollywood.

After the death of his parents, Khan moved to Mumbia in 1991. In that same year, before any of his films were released, he married Gauri Chibber (who is a Hindu) in a traditional Hindu Wedding Ceremony on 25 October 1991. They have two children, son Aryan (b. 1997) and daughter Suhana (b. 2000). According to Khan, while he strongly believes in Allah, he also values his wife's religion. At home, his children follow both religions, with the Qur'an being situated next to the Hindu gods.
In 2005, Nasreen Munni Kabir produced a two-part documentry on Khan, titled The Inner and Outer World of Shah Rukh khan. Featuring his 2004 Temptations concert tour, the film contrasted Khan's inner world of family and daily life with the outer world of his work. The book still Reading Khan, which details his family life, was released in 2006. Another book by Anupama Chopra, "King of Bollywood:Shahrukh Khan and the seductive world of Indian cinema", was released in 2007. This book describe the world of Bollywood through Khan's life.
Khan has been awarded a number of honours. He was honoured with the Padma Shri, India's fourth highest civilian award from the Government of India in 2005. InApril 2007, a life-size wax statue of khan was installed at the Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, London. Another statue was installed at the Musee Grevin in Paris, the same year. During the same year, he was accorded the Ordre des Arts et des Letters (order of the Arts and Literature) award by the French government for his "exceptional career".
In october 2008, Khan was conferred the Darjah Mulia Seri Melaka which carries the honorific Datuk (in similar fashion to "Sir" in british knightwood ), by the Yang di-Pertua Negeri Tun Mohd Khalil Yaakob, the head of state of Malacca in Malaysia. Khan was honoured for "promoting tourism in Malacca" by filming One Two Ka Four there in 2001. Some were critical of this decision. He was also honoured with an honorary doctorate in arts and culture from Britain's University of Bedfordshire in 2009.

AISHWARYA RAI

Aishwarya Rai (born on November 1, 1973; Ash to fans and media) is a supermodel and an award-winning actress from India. She is currently regarded as one of the biggest names in Bollywood.

EARLY LIFE:

Rai was born in Mangalore to krishnaraj and vrinda Rai, in the South Indian State of Karnataka; her mother tongue is Tulu.

In the 1994 Miss India Contest Rai placed second behind Susmitha Sen and went on to win the Miss World title.

As a professional model, Rai has appeared in many Indian fashion magazines, including the Indian Vogue; more recently she has featured in international ads for L'Oreal, De Beers Diamonds, and Coca-Cola.

BOLLYWOOD BREAKINGTHROUGH

The first film she acted in was the popular Tamil movie Iruvar in (1997), directed by Mani Ratnam. Rai's earliest films made money, but Rai herself did not impress critics-- they commented that her performances were stilted, as if she were stilted, as if she were still modeling.

Her breakthrough came with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. Later sucesses include Taal and Devadas. Rai has also acted in other Tamil Films such as Jeans, KanduKondain , and in the Bengali film Chokher Bali.

Rai was becoming an international star rather than simply a Bollywood one. In 2003, Rai was a member of the jury at cannes by TIME Magazine's Asian Edition as one of Asia's "100 Most Influential People." Rai was the subject of a 60 Minutes profile on January 2, 2005-"The Most Beautiful Woman in the World." A month later she appeared on the Late show with David Letterman, and on April 25, 2005, she was featured on Oprah's "Women Across the Globe" segment. A wax figure of Rai is on display in London's Madame Tussaud's wax museum.

Although frequently the subject of gossip column speculation about an imminent Hollywood career, it was only in 2004 that Rai finally acted in a foreign film. British director Gurinder Chadha hired her to play the heroine in Bride and Prejudice, a Hollywood-funded but Bollywood-ized version of Jane Austen's classic novel, Pride and Prejudice. The movie did well at the box office and Aishwarya's Hollywood profile rose a notch.

Rai is now said to be signed for another Hollywood movie, Rolland Joffe's project Singularity. She will star oppisite Brendan Fraser.

PERSONAL LIFE:

Earlier in her career, Aishwarya was involved in a high profile, allegedly turbulent relationship with Bollywood star Salman Khan. It apparently caused her to be dropped from a Shah Rukh Khan film when Salman's supposedly numerous and rowdy visits disripted filming and Shah Rukh's personal safety.

Since then she has been romantically linked to rising star Vivek Oberoi and film dynasty scion Abhishek Bachchan.

Julia Fiona Roberts (born october 28, 1967) is an American actress. She became well known during the early 1990s after starring in the romantic comedy Pretty Woman opposite Richard Gere, which grossed $463 million worldwide. After receiving Academy Award nominations for Steel Magnolias in 1990 and Pretty Woman in 1991, she won the Academy Award for Best Actress in 2001 for her performance in Erin Brockovich.
