BORNS; SHIVAJI RAO GAEKWADbon in december 12 ,1950 best known by his stage name RAJINIKANTH . he recieved indian's third honest honour,the PADMA BHUSHAN,RAJINIKANTH was born as shivaji rao Gaekwad into a marathi family in Bangalore ,India.He was the fourth child of his parents,Jijabai and Ramojirao Gaekwad,a police constable.He lost his mother at the age of five.hHe attended elementary school at the Acharya paathashala in Basavanagudi,Bangolore and then at the Vivekananda Balaka sanga.Rajinikanth struggled alot during his early age because of his family's low income.Although his mother-tongue is Marathi,he has not yet acted in a Marathi films. for his contribution to indian cenima.other than acting,rajinikanth worked as a screen writer,film producer ,and also playback singer.apart from his film career,he is philanthropist and also serves an influence in the politics of tamilnadu.rajinikanth debuted as an actor in 1975 under the direction of k.balachanderin supporting roles.he was later favoured in portraying antagonistic charecters and gradually to acting in lead roles.he also appaered in the cenimas of other nations,including american cenima.Hewas reportedly paid 26 crores about $5.3millon USD of as of january 2009 for shivaji:the boss,making him the highest paid actor in asia after JAKIE CHAN.RAJINIKANTH was named as one of the influential persons in south Asia by Asiaweek.He has won a Filmfare Best Tamil Actor Award for Nallavanuku Nallavan in 1984 and Muthu in1994 respectively.Between 1977 and 2005 , Rajikanth reacived several awards from Tamil Nadu State Film Award,Filmfare Awards
